          Main theme

The unique combination of environments and conditions within The Sandhill

Wildlife Area provides scientists, researchers, educators, artists and members of

the public with opportunities to understand the area’s distinctive wetlands that are

important to sustaining our living world.

          CREATIVE

          Problem

An interpretive plan and proposal was needed to be designed and created for the development of a new wildlife blind for the Sandhill area.

          Solution

          Style

          • Direct, clean, clear and simple (but not boring) to convey information

          • Serene and reflective of the local environment

          Color theory

          • The chosen color combination is a representation of the prominent area evergreens, marshes and waters. Deep teals, blues, and greens also convey feelings of health, tranquility and an abundance and harmony.

          Creative Roles

Interpretive Planner, Interpretive Designer, Creative Director
